Jane Long Elementary School

Ashley Thompson has been named the new principal of Jane Long Elementary School. Mrs. Thompson has 18 years of experience in education. Her roles have included teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. She holds a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies from Prairie View A&M University and a master's in educational administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Mrs. Thompson is honored to join and serve the Lamar CISD community.
